How can I pay for my purchase? Once we supply you with the shipping cost via phone or email, payment can be made through PayPal (credit/debit), or by cashier’s check/money order. Personal checks are accepted from U.S. residents, however shipment will be delayed until the check has cleared (7-10 days). Items must be paid for within five business days of the order or they will be returned to the gallery for sale.
We value your business. We promise to communicate with you clearly so that your expectations of quality and service are met. You will know the exact cost before the transaction, as well as any available delivery information. Items may originate from different locations which can result in a higher shipping cost. Some products may be final sale (nonreturnable and nonrefundable) as indicated in the Product Detail.
How to order. All orders placed through PaleoGallery.com are private and secure, and your satisfaction is our top priority. We will never share your contact information. Once you have chosen an item/items that you wish to purchase, please follow the following procedure:
1. Contact Us. Please contact us via the Contact Us box or by phone at 847-345-5553. Formal PaleoGallery hours are Monday – Friday, 7am to 7pm CST -- we realize that the Internet never sleeps. Feel free to ask questions, and tell us the best method/time to reach you.
2. Finalize the Order. We will then contact you, finalize the order and provide a total amount that includes applicable sales tax and shipping costs based on your delivery address and expectations of receipt.
3. Make a Payment. Payment can be through PayPal or by cashier’s check/money order. Personal checks are accepted from U.S. residents, however shipment will be delayed until the check has cleared (can be up to 7-10 business days).
4. We Ship. Once payment has been satisfied, we'll ship your purchase to you within 48 hours. All Jurassic bones/teeth are insured and shipped from either of our prep facilities (Virginia or Chicago) - PP&A, FOB Origin. Art and Curios items will be shipped from their respective point of origin. All international customers are responsible for paying any duties/taxes required by their country. 5. About Shipping. For art, smaller bones and teeth, and mid-sized specimens with thin processes or long, fragile sections, we primarily use USPS Priority Mail. Larger, heavier bones, dinosaur specimens, and art are shipped using various land/sea freight companies.
6. Packaged with Care. We carefully package all items for shipping and will provide tracking information if available. In most cases, rush delivery is available upon request. Please note that some shipping companies do not facilitate delivery to a P.O. Box.
7. Certificate of Authenticity. Dinosaur bones or teeth are shipped with a certificate of authenticity containing information on the locality, age, specimen number and date found.
